Why do we even HAVE Thursdays?

Woo Hoo! Almost Friday. And I only have to work a half day tomorrow - most of which I will be pigging out on holiday snack provided by the lovely people in my office. (well, and me too)

I have to go home tonight to make my "puppy chow" - I've never made it before so I'm hoping I don't fuck up.

Jeremy told me that last night after he picked Zoey up from my house, she cried all the way home saying, "Mommmmeeee! Mommmmeeee!" Thus, in turn, making me cry. She's getting good at saying Santa Clause too. Only her sounds more like, "Claw Claw." Funny shit, I tell you. My Mom gave her a bath Tuesday night, and Zoey started screaming. My Mom looks over and Zoey is standing up saying, "Poo poo!" Smart girl! Maybe a sign of easy potty training ahead?

I'm looking at a DLand banner right now that entails a skull-zombie type dude and states, "Welcome to my Eternal Prison." It's really ugly & demented looking.

Next week is going to be SO boring at work. Because I didn't get my Christmas vacation days scheduled in time, I was unable to schedule any at all. Therefore I will be here every damned day next week. Well, excluding Christmas Day, of course. We were told we *might* be able to leave at Noon, but not to count on it. Yeah, thanks corporate assholes! Noo! I don't want to be with my family on Christmas Eve! I want to be HERE! At work! Doing NOTHING. . . seeing as how it's almost guaranteed all of our customers will be off. Duh.

I've turned in my resume to my Mom, who told me about an executive secretary position that opened up for her company. See, I've been at my current job for 5 years. That's a lot of tenure for a 23 year old. But I hate what I do - and don't make nearly enough money for what I do. See, my Mom is a secretary and has been at her job for 5 years as well. She makes a whopping $52,000 a year. FOR BEING A SECRETARY! While I have been at MY job for 5 years, as an account manager, holding over 50 base accounts, doing a hell of a lot more than she does - and what do I get? $33,000 a year. yeah. Cute, huh? She also gets a nice phat-ass bonus. I get $240 every quarter. Wooo. My benefits are kickin' though. I like doing secretarial stuff too. ANYWAY - the whole point of this schpiel, is I really hope I get the job.

I'm taking Zoey to see Christmas Lights tomorrow night and then we're having dinner at Chuck 'E' Cheese. For some reason, that place scares the shit out of her. . . but they have really good pizza!
