New Years Eve was bunk
Yep. So I rang in 2003 with a bang. I slept through it all. Shur did! Zoey and Nanna and I went to dinner at Olive Garden, to which Zoey wasn't too happy. She didn't want to sit in her high chair AT ALL. We tried crayons, we tried crackers, we tried bread, we tried the cell phone. . . nu-uh. She wasn't having it. So, I sat her in my lap and let her eat my dinner with a fork. Messy. Very messy. But, kept her occupied as to not disturb other restaraunt patrons who were glaring at me. We came home, and Zoey and Nanna went to bed around 8:30 - I stayed up as long as possible and finally conked out around 10:30. I fell asleep to the audible sounds of gun shots. Nice, eh? You'd think Addison would be a pretty shooting-free zone. Being a snobbish area & all. But alas, there are a few fools in Addison, I guess, who decided to ring in thier new year with a few bullet sprays into the air. Dumbasses. Wednesday, we all got up and took my great-grandmother shopping. You'd think that for an 86 year old woman who never does ANYTHING, shopping would be a piece of cake. Yeah, it was anything but. The woman took longer than Christmas to find a damned shirt! I got sick of the waiting, so Zoey and I wandered around the mall attempting to find a toy store that still had toys left in it. I finally found a Kaybee Toys - and bought Zoey a tea set. See, I bought her a Belle doll for Christmas that came with a tiny tea set. Well Zoey loves it, but it is a little too tiny for a 16 month old. The little spoons are too much of a choking hazard. So, I bought her a bigger one so we can have tea parties. It's so weird to see her play "pretend." You'd think she was too young, but she knows exactly what she's doing and it's hilarious. She'll dip her spoon into the cup and swish it around and attempt to give me a 'bite.' She's funny. I also got her a Spongebob Squarepants toy that says different phrases. Big mistake. She pushes the button constantly. I hate Spongebob now. With a passion. The batteries may just have to run out soon. ;-) I FINALLY found an attorney that will not charge me an arm & a leg for a simple cut & dry divorce. $500 - yep. So, I have an appt. with him next week. I spoke with Jeremy this afternoon about it, just to double check everything and be certain we are on the same page in regards to custody, property division & so forth. He was in agreeance with everything. So, here we go. I haven't begun my rigorous work out routines I'd promised myself in my resolution. I did purchase a Pilates video today at Target, and will be bringing my work out clothes with me Monday to work in order to go with a few ladies from the office during lunch to do Tae Bo in our company gym. I also purchased some Ripped Fuel fat burner. Yeah, the shit's like speed. I took one right before I indulged in some Chick Fil A at lunch, and now I feel like I could run a marathon in 5 minutes. I took Xenadrine right after Zoey was born, but it made me feel horrible because of the Ephedra & Mah Huang (sp?) in it. I'm hoping this stuff won't be as harsh. I've tried Metabolife too. That stuff worked okay. But the Ripped Fuel was cheaper. **Here's looking up to a better year** Not just for me, but, for everyone. :-)
