Jonah Beck is FINALLY here!

Jonah Beck Rogers is here!!! 9 1/2 lbs. and 23 in. long. . . BIG baby!!

My best friend called me and told me she was "gushing" around 11am & that she was headed to the hospital. She drove herself & her 3 year old from Ft. Worth to Irving!!!!!!

She gets there and the check her cervix and can't feel the babies head. So they get the sonogram machine, and find out that he's in a U-shape against her pelvis. And that aparently she had been leaking water. . . it didn't just happen yesterday. So they wheeled her in for an emergency c-section.

She called me around 1pm, almost in tears. "They're taking me in for an emergency c-section. . . and Chad's not here yet!" Since the hospital is 5 minutes away from where I work, I hauled ass over there to be with her. Right as I get on the maternity ward floor, here comes her husband & her Mother in Law. 45 minutes later, Jonah is here! They did just fine! They didn't move her into her own room 'till around 4, and wouldn't let us in 'till around 4:30. He was such a tiny little bebe!!! It was SO weird holding such a tiny newborn again! I hardly remember it! :-(

So, afterwards I went and got Zoey from the sitters and we went home to eat some basketti. Mmmm. . .
