hamster bastards
Zoey and I stayed the night at my Mom's last night because, well, she asked us to! We had yummy chicken, potatoes, carrots and other veggies. Yum. Although, I didn’t eat too much because I was feeling rather weird. Light-headed, nauseous and dizzy. NO, there’s no way in hell I could be pregnant. So I just laid on my Mom’s couch for an hour, hoping it would pass. I still feel icky this morning. Damnit. Jeremy called me yesterday too. Basically just to see how Zoey was and what we were up to. At the end of the conversation, I told him that I didn’t want to be rude, but was wondering if he’d spoken with his Uncle yet regarding our divorce. (Jeremy’s Uncle is an attorney) Jeremy said, “No. Why? You in a hurry? Sure sounds like you are!!” --Shit! All I did was ask a fucking question, freak! So I said, “No, I’m not in a hurry. I just thought we had decided that he was who we wanted to work with for our divorce, and instead of sitting on this for weeks or months, it would just be better to get it over with.” –he didn’t say anything. He’s so dense sometimes. I mean, wouldn’t it be better just to get the whole thing over with instead of just letting it linger & stagnate? Geez. This past weekend, I went with my best friend to go buy her boys hamsters. They were staying at her MIL’s house for the night – so she wanted to do it then so they wouldn’t fight over which ones they wanted. She picked out 2 little boy hamsters; one being a light tan & white in color, the other a spotty brown. Well, for the ride home, the pet shop people put them in these little cardboard boxes with vent holes. Well, these little bastards started chewing through the ventilation holes trying to escape. So, I was messing with the boxes, in an attempt to get them to stop! Because once they were out of the box, they’d be in the plastic sac that encompassed the boxes and they would definitely be able to gnaw though that! Well, one of the little critters bit my thumb! HARD! I was bleeding all over the place. So my best friend stopped and put the sac, along with the boxes that contained the malicious hamsters, in a glass aquarium she had in the back of their Explorer. She said she is afraid to let the boys hold them now that they’ve bitten. But, I think that one bit me because I was messing with it, and it was scared. She said the one that bit me, though, is VERY rambunctious in the cage. And the other one is very docile. Not sure why I just stated all that. I’m just bored.
