Christmas gifts

Brrrr!!! It's chilly outside! When Zoey and I walked out to go to work/sitter this morning at 6am, she goes, "Oooh!" --Cutsie little bebe.

She and I colored last night in my Winnie the Pooh coloring book. She did good too! Lots of psychotic scribbles! Just like a 1 year old should color! She did attempt to put the crayons in her mouth a few times, but I stopped her.

Speaking of putting things in her mouth, she at a friggin roach Wed. Yeah. We got home, and I saw it in the kitchen. It was a little bitty baby roach - and I thought, "I need to get that up before Zo gets to it." Sure enough, I'm fixing her juice at the kitchen sink and turn around and the roach is gone and she's got a leg hanging from her lip. UGH! Gave me the heebie geebies! First a gecko, now a roach. Ick. So, I gave her the juice so she could wash it down. So nasty. Guess I need to call the apts. to have them exterminate.

I had some of the craziest dreams last night. One was that I was lactating again, only my breasts were excreating massive amounts of colostrum, and it was pouring out like a faucet. Ick. Well, I woke up from the dream at around 3am to go to the bathroom, only to find I have started my period. Freaky! Then I went back to bed and had a dream about a red, white & blue rat. I was trying to pet it, and it attacked my shin. Some chinese guy helped me get it off, and he let it loose and it attacked someone else. Really dumb, but weird nonetheless.

My Mommy brought me donuts this morning! Such a nice Mommy. She said, "Can I come and pick up Zoey tomorrow morning?" I said, "Why can't you pick BOTH of us up? I don't have anything to do tomorrow!" And she said, "I just want some time with Zoey." ---Uh, nooooooo! I love hanging out at my Mom's casa.

I got on the internet yesterday scouring for good homemade gift ideas for Christmas. I have way too many people to buy for - and instead of buying several things, I figured I would just make a lot of neat homemade goodies. I went to MarthaStewart.com and found a cool & easy recipe for scented ice cube soaps. I'll probably just make everyone 'stuff' baskets. Like for my 17 & 20 year old sisters, I plan to make baskets with homemade soaps, bath saltz, essential oils, homemade candles, emory boards, nail polish, loofah's, and maybe some handmade necklaces. Most of the beauty stuff I can find cheap at Sally's. And Hobby Lobby has a TON of crafty ideas. And I can do the same for my Dad & step Mom, and maybe add a bottle of wine in there for them. I think that will be a lot less expensive & a lot more heartfelt. I love homemade gifts. Plus I don't have the money to be buying everyone a lot of expensive stuff. My sisters and I are having all of our pictures taken together and giving those to my Mom & Grandparents for Christmas. And I can spend most of my money on Zoey.

I *really* want to get her a 'Sit n Spin'!!! I had one when I was little, and loved it. Not sure if she'd really be able to use it yet, though. I want to get her a Magna Doodle too!

Okay, I have to go into a staff meeting now. Yee haw.
