mmm, cheesy gooness
We're doing our Secret Santa stuff this week at work. How we do it, is we each get a list to fill out. Up top is big gifts: candles, c.d., DVD, etc. Lower portion is for small things: candies, soda's, fruit, etc. So everyday during the week we start it, your Secret Santa drops off one of the small things you requested. Like, I requested a piece of cheesecake. And y'know what I had sitting on my desk when I came back from smoking? A small, personal sized NY Cheesecake! (that I am devouring at this very moment!) I also asked for cheese (yea, i'm a cheese freak) Twix, and Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. (which I got yesterday) For big gifts, I put down, a foot water bath, a good wine, candles, the 20th Anniversary edition of Trivial Persuit. I am really hoping I get that one. Anyway - we (Zoey and I) watched the Billboard Music Awards last night, and I got to witness Cher dropping the *F* bomb on national television. Unedited. Ha. That was funny. Caught me off guard too. I was like, "Whoa! What channel am I watching?" (yeah, like I never curse) She was speaking of critiques & reporters and how they've all said she's not going to be around the next year or whatever. Her reply was, "Well. . . . FUCK EM!" The crowd went nuts. Is she banning together with the Osbourne's to make a better, more profanity-accepting nation? Heh. No, I think she was just trying ot make a point. I'm going to the movies tomorrow night for the second time in, oh, years. Since Zoey will be with her Dada, I'm going with a friend to the Studio Movie & Grill in Addison - to watch Die Another Day over grilled coconut chicken strips and a tequila sunrise. Mmmm. I was asked to babysit a 3 & 5 year old Friday night since Zoey will be with her Daddy. Ugh. . . It's for a really good friend of my Mom's, and she'll pay me, but, ugh!!!!! I reall dont want to watch kids, when I'm having a short time out from my own. I dont care if I'll get paid. But then again, I HATE telling folks (especially Mom's) No. It's not like I have anything to do Friday, but, I just dont feel like watching someone else's kids - I'd rather be with my own. I *could* finish shrink-wrapping my soaps! I still have a blue batch & a gold batch to make. I finished a red batch & a silvery batch the other day. Yay. Gotta. . . . . finish. . . . . cheese. . . . cake. . . . . . no. Too. . . . . . . full. . . . . . to. . . continue. . . . . must . . . . .explode!!!!
