I know you are but what am I?

I woke up at 3 a.m. this morning to Zoey’s tiny finger poking half way up my nose. Heh. Guess she just thought it was a great place to stick her finger at 3 a.m. She was saying, "Mommee! Mommee! Mommee! Mommee!". . . you get the idea. 3 a.m. is NOT the time Mommee wants to get up & play. No matter how much sleep she's had over the past week. :-)

I finally get her back to sleep, and just when I do so . . . my damned alarm goes off for me to get up. (I set it an hour ahead of when I *really* need to get up, just to ensure I get up!) Freak, yes, I know. Therefore, she starts wiggling & tossing & turning again. GREAT. She didn’t get up though. And she was thoroughly pissed when I finally did wake her up to go to Nana Joy’s this morning. I feel bad, because as soon as I put her in that cold ass car seat, she cries. Poor thing. I’d start my car a few minutes early to get it warm inside, if I didn’t live in the freaking ghetto. Yeah. Have my nice, 2002 car stolen so I can have warmth a few minutes earlier? Ha. No.

I wish I had good credit so I could get a new vehicle. I want one of those Toyota Matrix’s. I like those. Or an SUV of some sort. If I were rich, I’d buy a phat pimped out Escalade or a Tahoe with 28” chrome wheels. Yeah, like those big-ballin’, shot-callin’ low down thugs who be creepin’ on ah come up. Sounded good, no? *in my best valley-girl voice* I should like, be a rapper or like something.

A friend of mine is making me dinner tonight. He suggested we go to the movies. But, I hate going to the movies because I can’t sit still that long – and you can’t have good conversation at the movies! So, I suggested we hang out at his house, watch movies, and HE cook dinner. Because besides my Dad & Emeril Lagase on TV, I’ve NEVER seen a man cook an actual meal! This ought to be interesting. He’s making pasta with a homemade sauce & Caesar salad. I offered to bring a dessert, but, he’s not big into sweets. I’m also bringing him a photo album of mine with ‘old school’ pictures in it. He will get a big laugh out of some of them. I love looking at other people’s pictures. I think it tells somewhat of a story of their lives. I was SUCH a dork when I was younger. Okay, so not much has changed. But still. You could say I’m some what of an ‘Ugly Duckling’ story who’s just got prettier with age. Or, at least, that is how I think of it.

Anyway – I’m trying to decide what to have for lunch. Popcorn . . . . or Cheez-its. Decisions, decisions. . . .
